I have an iMac, 2001, G3, 450 hz. I want to connect to the internet via my friend's cable internet connection. Is there a specific router that is needed that has to be compatiable for both mac and Windows platforms in order to do this? Or can I buy any wireless model? Do I need to buy an Airport card/adapter for my iMac too? What components am I looking at to set this up successfully? Thanks for any responses to this request.
