*Logic Pro 8 crashes on launch*

Logic Pro 8 has been working great since I first installed it (2 years ago) until today. Today I went to update my Pro Tools, so I uninstalled my current version and realized that I had to update my OS (currently running 10.5.8) before updating Pro Tools. I reinstalled my older version of Pro Tools and since then my Logic will not open.

Logic Pro will crash on launch. "Problem caused by DAE plug-in" which said plug-in is nowhere to be found on my computer. And now Pro Tools will not open. I don't know where to start with this. Any help is much appreciated.

Sounds tricky ...

I think you need to read through this thread because as far as I can see, it seems to tie in with your issue. It's all above my level of expertise though.

I hope you can get it sorted out.
