Hi

Is there a decent linux emulator for Mac? There is a program I'd like to use which I guess is linux-only. It isn't graphics-intensive, if that helps.

Thanks everyone!

I use VMware Fusion. You will need to get a license for it, but its free.

Here is a link to get the software and license: https://knowledge.broadcom.com/external/article/368667

Just note that if you are using a M series Mac, then you will need an Arch64 version of linux.
For M series Macs there are several Linux virtualizations apps I've tried out: VMware Fusion (free version), UTM, VirtualBuddy and Liviable. VirtualBox now seem to offering an ARM VM app but I've not tried it. There's also Parallels Desktop but it needs an annual subscription. Currently I'm using Liviable which utilizes macOS's lightweight virtualization software. See https://eclecticlight.co/tag/liviable/
