Hi
On opening iphoto I was surprised to find that all my photos had disappeared. My iphoto library is still showing in finder but iphoto cannot open the folder. The error message 232 states that the files are unreadable due to an unrecognised format. Don't know how this happened but would appreciate some ideas about how to retrieve (no they are not backed up anywhere - I know!).
Stellar phoenix mac data recovery preview software is showing the photos are on the hard drive and this software could be the answer, but it is £80 to get the full software to complete the recovery.
I would prefer a cheaper option if possible - does anyone have any ideas?
