IPhone Delay in Calling

My iPhone SE is great for somebody like me with hearing aids. In the last few days, though, we experience a considerable delay between the time we dial and the time that the ringing starts. In two cases, it failed to make the connection. What can we do about this? Thanks.

Hi,

Possibly one of two issues.

1) The delay is caused by the interconnect between networks.
2) There is an issue with the iPhone.

If you have an Apple store close by then possibly book an appointment to get the phone checked out.

If all is well then you know it's your carrier.
