I cant restore my iphone se from backup on macbook pro 15 with Mojave 10.14.6 because of the password that I have never set nor checked encrypt backup box. The backup was done before the iOS update, then because of an error I went back to factory settings. Then when I try to restore backup mac asks for password. Blank does not work, any of my passwords dont work either (apple ID, macbook password, phone code). It is the same situation with older backup from the Time Machine. Any ideas, please?

Luckily after I got Your suggestion I went back to trying to restore and one of my passwords worked - so it seems I must have set the password to encrypt the backup, though I'm still 95% convinced I hadn't. Further, the box encrypt backup is not ticked. Anyway I have my data, thanks for help.
