iPhone 15 Pro Battery Life Issues

I recently upgraded from an iPhone 11 to an iPhone 15 Pro, but the battery life seems similar to my old phone. The new battery drains 1% every 4-5 minutes and overheats while charging, even when not in use. It stays at 100% for a bit, then starts draining 1% every 4-5 minutes. Any advice?

I would check to see what apps you have enabled to run in the background.

You can check this at Settings > General > Background App Refresh. You can either disable some or all of your apps from running in the background to increase battery life.
