Here are the Reasons and Solutions

  1. Background Activity:
    • Apps Running in Background: Some apps may be consuming battery in the background.
    • Solution: Go to Settings > Battery and check which apps are using the most battery. You can disable Background App Refresh for specific apps by going to Settings > General > Background App Refresh.
  2. Location Services:
    • High Battery Usage: If location services are constantly active, they can drain the battery.
    • Solution: Go to Settings > Privacy & Security > Location Services and review the apps using location services. Turn off location access for apps that don’t need it or set it to "While Using the App".
  3. Push Notifications:
    • Frequent Notifications: Constant notifications can wake your phone and drain the battery.
    • Solution: Go to Settings > Notifications and manage notifications to limit which apps can send you notifications.
  4. Battery Health:
    • Battery Calibration: Sometimes new batteries need to be calibrated.
    • Solution: Fully charge your iPhone to 100%, then let it drain completely until it turns off. Charge it back to 100% without interruption.
  5. Software Update:
    • Bugs and Glitches: Sometimes, a software bug can cause battery drain.
    • Solution: Ensure your iPhone is running the latest iOS version by going to Settings > General > Software Update.
  6. Reset Settings:
    • Misconfigured Settings: Sometimes, misconfigured settings can cause battery issues.
    • Solution: Go to Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings. This will reset system settings but won’t delete your data.
  7. Battery Usage Settings:
    • Optimized Battery Charging: Enable this feature to reduce battery aging.
    • Solution: Go to Settings > Battery > Battery Health & Charging and enable Optimized Battery Charging.
  8. Check for Rogue Apps:
    • Faulty Apps: Occasionally, a poorly optimized app can drain the battery.
    • Solution: Check the Battery section in Settings for any app that is using an abnormal amount of battery and consider uninstalling it.
  9. Disable Unnecessary Features:
    • Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, AirDrop: These features, when left on, can drain the battery.
    • Solution: Turn off Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and AirDrop when not in use by swiping down from the top right corner to access Control Center.
