Last week,I inadvertently clicked the yes button in a pop up dialogue box. The message was along the lines of “We need to check files etc on the internet to ensure they are safe.“ The next time I logged in, Safari was denied access. I have followed recommended procedures to try and fix the problem, but to no avail.
i have found an app in a folder named _MACOSX. The app is Mac cleanup pro. I think it’s the cause of the problem. However I need reassurance and advice that removing this app to trash is safe. Afterthat,what other steps do I follow to restore I ternet access.
