Intel iMac

I've just got my new Intel Core2 Duo iMac, but now discover that my old SpeedTouch USB modem won't work with it. I've got a Virgin broadband account. Can anyone help me with what to do now? If I get a router and run via Airport, will my Virgin settings work on the router? Glad to have any advice. Thanks.

USB modems seem to be problematic. This particular thread lists a netgear. I would
also talk to your ISP provider to see if they have compatibility issues wiith any brand.
