Has anyone encountered this issue. I put my Mac to sleep and when i return both screens are awake however nothing else works.
Magic mouse doesn't work
Bluetooth Keyboard doesn't work

When i use a wired mouse to attempt to wake up my Mac properly it doesn't work.

My only solution is to restart my Mac

Hello,
  • Which exact model iMac?
  • Which version of macOS?
  • Both mouse and keyboard are Apple, correct?
You could try a couple of things:
  • Delete the keyboard and mouse in Bluetooth preference pane and re-add them (you may need a wired keyboard and mouse to do this)
  • Perform an SMC and NVRAM reset (different processes for Intel and M1 Macs)
