iMac and Final Cut Studio

I have just purchased a new iMac and I am having trouble loading final cut studio on it. I am using the original discs which I had it running on my old MacBook Pro then first insulation disc works and audio 1 but when I put audio 2 in I don't get an install icon just a message to say double click the install icon.
any ideas

-Which exact model iMac?
-Which version of macOS?
-Which version of Final Cut Studio?

Sounds like the version of FCS you have is too old to install on a more current iMac and version of macOS.
