How do you delete old Word docs?
When I open Word all the previous docs open (at this point there are 38) and I no longer need them all. I have looked in Finder and they are not shown there so I can't drag them to the Trash.
Looked around and can't find a solution. Any ideas?:(

Click on the Red Close Window Button, in the top left hand corner of the document. Then note the location when it asks you to save.

Thanks for the idea.
There is no close window cross only "close Word" and shutdown etc apple.
I typed a new test Word doc and it saved to Documents. Then to Finder and there it was and I was able to drag it to Trash. Old doc still there.

Found the files I wanted to delete after searching through "All My Files" in Finder. Then dragged them to the Trash.
