How to delete email that i can not open?

I have four emails from e-bay, Saying price reduction on certain items, I can not open these emails and i would like to know how to delete them, I have tried everything. 2006 imac OSX 10.6.8.

Have you tried, Mailbox > Rebuild ? This has worked for me in the past when emails will not delete.

That doesn't work, All four emails are hi lighted as unread, When i click on one, Mail disappears and a message pops up saying mail quit unexpectedly, This report sent to apple automatically. I guess i will just live with it. Thank you
