Help needed with 2009 polycarbonate macbook

I have a 2009 polycarbonate macbook i installed el capitan on an ssd and used catalina patcher, after some time i removed the ssd and put in Some other hdd and made a el capitan bootable drive with transmac and when booting the macbook while pressing option key it doesn't show the usb in the options

Even tried uubyte and balena etcher but same result

Sorry for the delayed response.

I assume you mean dosdude1's Catalina Patcher, correct? I have heard of issues with the way that TransMac creates bootable disks/installers.

Does the SSD that you removed still work if you reinstall it?
