Help - desktop and windows oversized and slightly blurry

It seems as though I have "zoomed-in" on my desktop and all open windows. Everything appears oversized and slightly blurry. I've tried to solve the problem within System Preferences (i.e. adjusting screen resolution, font sizes, grid spacing, icon sizing, etc.) but cannot find the solution. Any thoughts?

Hello and welcome.

If you have indeed zoomed in, try this:

1. System Preferences > Universal Access
2. Make sure the Seeing tab is selected
3. Turn off Zoom or use the key combo: Hold Option - Command and tap the - button until it zooms out all the way.

Thanks for that tip on the Zoom! I'm so grateful that there are people out there with simple solutions when I think it's all so complicated.
