Hello. First post on this site. I have an iMac that would no longer boot so I removed the hard drive (my Logic Pro X) is in there). I connected the hard drive to a Kingwin usb adapter and plugged that into my MacBook Air. The hdd will not run connected to the Air. How can I get my Logic Pro back?

Hello and welcome.

A few troubleshooting questions for you:

-Which model iMac?
-Which model MacBook Air?
-Which version(s) of OS X/macOS?
-Does the drive spin up or make any sounds?
-Are you trying to get the application, or your Logic Pro audio files/projects?
-Do you have a Time Machine or other backup of your data?

No backup. Bought a Mac mini and was able to download Logic Pro X from my existing account. The iMac will be recycled.
