Funambol icon in top corner won't go away

I recently downloaded Funambol on my computer but it wasn't what I wanted. When I removed the application and any other files the icon stayed in the upper right corner of my computer by the airport symbol. I tried using "activity monitor" to quit it and the command+click to remove it from the bar. Neither of these solutions solved the problem. Help please!

Hi,

have you used the Funambol unistaller to remove the application?
If you have just deleted the folder from the applications, you've not really unistalled Funambol, just removed some files.
If this is the case you should try reinstalling it and then uninstalling it by using the uninstaller provided (it is in the Funambol folder).
