I have a MacBook (OSX 10) that I bought in May '08. I had 96 photos stored in a folder on my desktop to use in collages for a calendar and inadvertantly transferred them all straight to my desktop (I wanted to move only one over and didn't notice that they were all selected). Now I cannot access them at all to move them back, even one at a time. It's like the whole thing is frozen solid. I can access other programs (such as Firefox, which I'm using right now) but they're running a little slow. The laptop won't shut down, so I've removed the battery, reinserted it, and started it back up. This did not free up my desktop. Any suggestions? And thank you.
