For Any WORD Users: Tab Problem, Please ?

Hello,

I use MS WORD pretty much exclusively, but at times it can really
drive me bats. If anyone has any opinion re this problem i am experiencing, would be most appreciative.

Have a simple document.
Only 1 column, normal tabs, etc.

Basic page setup like I usually use.
Something, apparently, has changed.

But, if I put the cursor immediately before some word, hit the Tab, it does not tab,
I goes immediately to a word, or a line right below. (only for this doc.)

What is happening ?
What should i check ?

Could you copy & paste the entire content of the document into a new file and see if the new version then behaves properly?

Hi,

Much thanks for offer of help.

Have deleted the doc., and re-doing it, so all set now.

Sure are a zillion things to know in WORD.
