Firefox and Quicktime issue

I am running OSX 10.4.10. I have installed the latest version of Quicktime. Whenever I go to a site that uses QT to display a video I get a ghost QT emblem with a question mark in it. Does anyone know how I can fix this?

Hi there Mike,

it sounds as though your Quicktime install has not been successful, try re downloading and installing Quicktime.
