email question mac os x 10.6.8

hey guys quick question, i use multiple emails for different things, one for school, one for work, ect. right now i have two accounts set up in the mail application on my dock but i was wondering if there was a way i can have two separate mail applications on my dock for two different emails instead of having both emails synced to the same inbox?

Not both with Mail, you could have one in Mail and the other in Sparrow or ThunderCat???.

If you open the disclosure triangle on the inBox you should have 2 inboxes one for each account.

yeah there are two inboxes in the mail application, i just would really like to have two separate icons.

so there is no way to have two mail icons on the dock? each being a different email account?

the second email i wish to add is yahoo and i know i can download the yahoo mail tab but it requires mountain lion, are there any cheap or free mail applications i can download with os x 10.6.8?

No, you can't have 2 versions of the same Mail App on your Mac, with different settings.
