There are two sleep, restart, shut down and Log Out commands appearing under the Apple in the top left of my computer. Why does this happen and how do I fix it?

Try repairing permissions using Disc Utility which you will find in the Applications ~> Utilities folder.

Click on your HD in the left column, then select the First Aid tab and click on the Repair Disc Permissions.

Then restart your Mac and let us know if the problem is still there. :)

Hey Spawn! Thanks for responding. I did try that. Twice....but it didn't work. I also checked accounts to see if there were some that should not be there but they were all fine. Any other suggestions?
