Hey :),

I own a macbook pro. I hate that white startup screen. Is there a way to disable that and directly go to the apple logo or is there any other way to change the color of that to black.

Apple does not provide a built-in option to change the white startup screen on a MacBook Pro to black or any other color. The white startup screen with the Apple logo is part of the macOS boot process and is not customizable. If you want to reduce the brightness during startup, you could try dimming the screen before shutting down your Mac, which might help make the startup less glaring.

It sounds like you do not have your hard drive selected as the boot drive.

What you need to do is go to your system preferences then Startup Disk. Unlock the preferences then select your hard drive as the startup drive.

This should make your Mac boot faster.
