Disabled iphone 6 will not restore

Hi all,

My nephew unfortuelty got a hold of my sister's iPhone 6 and has completely disabled it and nothing I have tried will resolve this.

It will not update, and when trying to restore it takes so long to extract the firmware it exits restore mode, so tried downloading this externally and doing it that way still the same result, nor will it enter dfu mode,

I've also tried to erase the phone through her iCloud account, but the phone shows as offline despite it showing the network carrier on the screen, she's aware she going to lose all the data on the phone but I cannot for the life of me get it to restore, any help would be greatly appreciated,

Hello and welcome.

-Does it show a disabled alert on the screen - if so, what does it say?
-How are you trying to put it in DFU mode?
-What computer are you connecting it to via iTunes?
