 Hello there. I have recently bought ilife 06 for my G4 (OS 10.4.8) to edit and burn my wedding video. The problem I am having is that my startup disk only has about 2.5 gig spare. I have an alternative internal drive with huge amounts of free space; is there any way of creating a new start-up disc with this one even though I do not have the OS original disk (OS came with my mac from e-bay)

Hi there howard,

get yourself Carbon Copy Cloner and then you can clone the drive to your second internal...then when you boot up hold down the option key to be given a choice of which volume/drive to boot from.

CCC will wipe whatever is on the second drive though...so that data would need to be backed up else where. Then once you have done the clone you can copy the data back.

regards
