Automator / Script for Creating Preview album

Hi there,


I have a File with multiple project folder witch contains images. I want to copy one random image from each of the folders and rename that image as the folder name, and create a preview folder of all of the image folders. Automator copies the whole folder and not just one image. Is there a script I can run to do this for me?

Scripting of that nature is above my experience. Maybe the folks over at MacScripter could help out.

I registered there but it tooks time before being able to post. As a matter of fact that should not be a big feat, my main problem is that I never used Automator; it should be a trivial four liner for someone more skilled than me.
