Combining AVI files

Does anyone know of a way to combine two or more AVI files into one?

Hi there,

quickest way I know is using QuickTime Pro, but you need to buy the license...

I'm not sure of free 'ways' but I'll have a look...

I do have Quicktime Pro. Are their any sites that have a step by step on how to merge?

Hi there,

you can do a select all in one movie, then copy, then paste into the other movie...if you see what I mean...

So to stitch these two movies together...


Do a select all from the source movie...

Then open the second movie and paste...

The Movie will get pasted in at the end...see the dark gray bit that is the new 'pasted' movie...

Also notice the two 'L' shaped handles, you can move those to edit the selection that you want...then copy that and paste that into the avi montage !
