Can you migrate mail from iOS mail to a mac?

Can you migrate mail from iOS mail to a mac? The server has been formatted but there is still a local copy on my old phone. is there a way to get a local copy of my emails on my Mac or transfer them to a live/current account? Phone is my old 4s and my macbook is a 2012 MBP running lion.
