Hi There,

What Mac are you using, and are you booting it from an external drive now? and is macOS Ventura installed on your internal HD?

If so you can go to the System Settings > General . Startup disk and select the internal drive then restart. Your Mac should boot from the drive that you selected.

Booting with the default internal HDD refers to starting up a computer using the operating system installed on its internal hard disk drive. This is the standard and primary method of booting for most computers. It involves powering on the computer, which then reads the OS from the internal HDD to initiate the startup process.
