Hi,
Can anybody please tell me how I can solve this problem-

I wanted to install windows by using Bootcamp assistant but whenever I attempt to run Bootcamp it gives the following message,

Stratup disk can not be partitioned or restored to a single partition.

"The startup disk must be formatted as a single mac OS extended(Journaled)
volume or already partitioned by Bootcamp assistant for installing Windows"

Hi.
Go to Disk Utility, just search it in spotlight. It should show your hard drive and any other storage devices connected to your computer on your left hand side. Click on your hard drive, and up the top or the bottom there should be a button called format, or something like it. Click it, and it should show you a list of what things to format your hard drive to. Click on the one you want to format you hard drive to. It may take a while to do, but after that Bootcamp should work.
