Apple Magic Mouse disconnects & connects frequently?

My Mac Mini Magic Apple Mouse disconnects & connects and this has happening frequently from last few days. Recently I changed its battery to Duracel and it still has 76% of power. Any ideas why it is showing such behaviour?

The only AAs that seem to work well are the Apple ones.

What are the AA from Apple? How much they cost and how long they may run?
Also I notice a change in batter power yesterday. 76%-64%-74% today
Does it also change like this?
