    Hey Guys,

I am getting a new 12 core Mac Pro this weekend. I would like to get a 5k monitor for it. The LG that Apple recommends has terrible reviews and all kind of problems. Is there another 5k monitor out there that the Mac Pro will run with little to no problems? Does anybody have any recommendations?

    Thanks in advance

    Hello and welcome.

It looks like most of the issues are with folks running that display with MacBook Pros, not Mac Pros. Also, the Mac Pro's graphics card isn't supported for the actual 5K 5120 x 2880 @ 60Hz resolution of the LG...the maximum for it is 3840 x 2160 @ 60Hz.

I am not familiar with any other displays to recommend...sorry.
