Hello to all board members,
I have an issue with my MacBook Pro early 2011. Last year my MacBook had some serious logic board issues which was replaced with apple's replacement program. A few weeks ago a new issue started: from time to time it didn't boot but gave three short beeps. This was only occasionally at the beginning but turned into a permanent issue.
I read in several discussions that this might be caused by a RAM issue and gave it to a repair shop. They now told me that have to replace the battery filter (whatever this is) power supply circuit as well as a new HD. For all this they are asking 325 USD.
Firstly has anyone heard about a battery filter issue ever before? Does this all sound plausible? Would be happy to read your experience with similar issues.
Thanks
