17" intel iMac os x 10.4: Hlep viewer problem

when i access the main mac help viewer from the finder toolbar it isnt workng, it doesnt find anything i search for, or the links to the index etc dont work!this has only just started to happen, it used to work fine.the help viewer for other programs seems to be working fine!!

i am quite new to macs so some help would be verey useful!!

i have just updated to 10.4.7 and it seems to have solved the problem
