Windows DVD > iPod software?

I have a PC owning friend who has recently bought an iPod. What are his options (if any) when I comes to copying DVD films that he owns into a format suitable for the iPod.

I know the likes of Handbrake will do it but is there a Windows programme that will do the same?

Hi Mike,

I have a copy of http://www.intervideo.com/jsp/InterVideoDVDCopy_Profile.jsp which I use on my PC for getting DVD to my iPAQ PDA, it does conversion for iPod's too, but I haven't used it, Wifey only has the old 60GB Photo iPod...
