Where can i get iChat

when i got my mac not that long ago it had ichat on but i didnt know you can use an extension to make msn contacs work but i have already uninstalled it, i have put the install discs in to see if i can just install it from ther but it wont work so does anyone know where i can get a hold of a copy of iChat and the one on the apple website says it only works on the Tiger version 10.3 and i have 10.4.

Have you tried a custom install from your installation disc? iChat might be an option there. I know it comes bundled with OS X, but I believe you can install just iChat. Take a look at your install disk and try running a custom install. If you have that option, you should be able to navigate the installation disk and select only iChat.

Hi there,

unfortunately it won't install that way, Apple don't give you the option of just installing one App.

You will have to do either "An Archive & Install" or download Pacifist.

You can use Pacifist to do what you want and just install iChat on it's own.
