SOLVED what model iphones in IOS 14.3 invoke the control panel..?

Hi, I have just updated my iPhone 7 to the very latest IOS 14.3...

have watceh all the u tube videos. trying to invoke the control panels below. and either wont come up.

it it a Hardware or software problem.

very very hard of hearing, and trying to use airpods pro, as so utube videos show, as hearing aids... need to turn their volume up, but cant get the controll panel.

and now suspecting that that only works on some iphone models. and I corect.? if so which..? (as nothing is said about what model iphone on the videos, but suspect showin the 'cutout' it is iphone 10 or above.?

My iPhone 6s running iOS 14.3 can access the Control Panel just fine - swipe up from the bottom of the screen. Is that what you are trying?
