Mac USB (2015 Model)

Hello my name is Ryan, I have a 2015 macbook. My problem is the USB on the left smells like it's burning, i'm curtained that it's the USB because the usb for the mouse smells the same way the mac USB smells. The mouse USB as looks a little bit burnt, and inside the mac usb there is blue stuff inside. Even though the usb for my mac still works i'm concerned.

Any ideas what the problems is?
Any solutions for this problem?

Hello and welcome.

The symptoms you describe, especially the "blue stuff inside," is indicative of liquid damage. The blue stuff is corrosion from liquid eating at the metals on the logic board.

I recommend not using the USB ports if they smell burnt. Definitely get your Mac diagnosed, as it could be an unsafe situation when using the USB ports if there is indeed liquid damage internally.
