I've just bought a huawei external usb modem, and plugged it into my Macbook - it was recognised no problem. unfortunately i then made the mistake of knocking it out of the usb port, and i got an error or 'this device was not removed properly...'. since then whenever i plug it into my macbook, it won't mount. its also not recognised in disk utility, which is a big problem as it means i can't use it to access the internet.
does anyone have any ideas?
