Hi,

I’ve inserted several USB drives into my MacBook and, while they show up as icons on the desktop, and are recognized in the device manager, they don’t show up in the sidebar when I open the Finder. The red arrow shows where I usually see them, and as of this morning, it hasn’t been showing them.

Is this a preferences issue or something? It’s weird that it happened so suddenly.

Thank you!

Hover your mouse pointerto the far right og the word Locations in Finder, does the word Show appear? if so click it.

If not try this.
Finder > Preferences > Sidebar, then under Locations tick the drives you want to see.

Hey...

Thanks for the reply! I did try that, and it seems that everything is ticked off as it should be. Yet, nothing shows up? I attached a screenshot of the two windows next to each other.

Is there anything else I might be able to do?

Hello and welcome.

Lufbrarunner meant hover your mouse here to make the word Show appear, then click it:
