What is involved in upgrading a G3 iMac, currently operating on System 8.6, to operate on Tiger?

Can you let us know what the model number of your iMac is ?

How much RAM have you got ?

and finally for now, how big is your Hard Drive (and free space ?) ?

This is the offical Apple Specs required to run Tiger...

http://www.apple.com/macosx/upgrade/requirements.html


Requirements
Macintosh computer with a PowerPC G3, G4 or G5 processor
Built-in FireWire
DVD drive for installation
256MB of RAM
3GB of available hard disk space (4GB if you install the developer tools)

...but you can run it on less.
