Timing an app

Greetings,
I have a small challenge that I need help with.
My granddaughter has an iPad, and uses a speech device on the iPad called Prologquo2go. I want that app to be available to her all of the time.
But, she also has another app on her device called "endless reader." This app is fantastic for teaching reading. The challenge is that she uses the reader app all of the time and almost to the exclusion of other things.
I would like to be able to give her 30 minute increments of the app only. For example, I would like for her to be able to use her reader app for 30 minutes after I set it and then not have access until I set it again. (For the curious, I'm trying to use access the reader app as a reward for toileting.) I've contacted the "support" at the reader app, but have not received a response.
Does anyone have any helpful ideas?

Hello and welcome.

I don't know of a way to do that, but you can use Guided Access to lock her into the Proloquo2Go app:
