Hi, I have made a silly goof. I accidently threw my systems folder in the trash and now my macbook will not boot. When I turn it on it flashes an apple and circle with a slash. Any suggestion on how to fix this? I have the latest Tiger OS.

Welcome!

Reboot with your OS disk. Drag what you need out of the trash if you haven't emptied it, or reinstall the system with your disks.

Hi
Do you havs the system disk that came with your MacBook? If so you should place the disk in the drive and then start up holding down the "c" key this will start up using the OS on the cd?dvd. If you hav'nt emptied the trash you can simply open the trash and drag the system folder to your main HD. Then restart it should work
