Hi all,

I'm trying to use my telnet/ssh in the terminal app. It used to be just fine, used it all the time, but in the past few months (not sure exactly when it became a problem) whenever I try to connect with telnet, I get the following error:

Code:
telnet> open localhost
Trying 127.0.0.1...
telnet: connect to address 127.0.0.1: Connection refused
telnet: Unable to connect to remote host

Now, this is not a localhost issue. The same thing arises with any host. In my case it is a remote host.

This problem arose at the same time in both of my computers, so I suspect it to be a system wide issue. Something to do with an update, perhaps.

I've scoured the web for answers, nothing specific to my particular issue, most answers deal with the OS X Server.

Any ideas?
