Switching from Os X to windows

I just got a macbook and I had a friend of a friend install windows onto it, but now I'm out of contact with them and I have no idea how switch to windows when I'm in Os X, I remember him saying there were keys I'm supposed to press and it should just go to windows, if anyone can help me I'd appreciate it, thanks

Hi there and welcome !

restart the computer and hold down the 'option' key (it says alt on it !)

This will then give you a boot screen, from here you can select OS X or Windows.
