Suitable home use bar code reader

I would like to know if there is a iMAC Bar Code READER I could use with my Mac OS X Version 10.7.4 which has a buit in camera (i don't know if this is useful info). I need a reader for home use for banking in Finland where I live.

Any ideas would be very much appreciated and thanks in advance

The problem is not with getting a reader it's ensuring it scans the type of barcode that is relevant for your needs.
ISBN and ISSN are common, you will need to find out what the bar codes you want to read are.
