Sometimes lyrics don't show up in music app.

My iPad Pro and iPhone 6 Plus synchronize to my Mac's iTunes. Everything's current.

I have lyrics in songs that often don't show up in one or both iDevices. When I select a song and scroll down, I get the "Up Next" section which may have songs in it or may not (I'd like to clear that section but don't know how).

But usually (but not always), the Lyrics heading and lyrics don't show up.

How do I get the lyrics to show up on these devices?

-Which version of iOS on the iPhone and iPad - 9 or 10?

I have never used the Lyrics function, so I may not be much help with that.

In the Up Next section, you should see Add and Clear functions, depending on which version of iOS you are running.

I have IOS 10.0.2.

I just used the app "Lyrics View" to view the lyrics of a song I was playing. So the lyrics are on that song on my iPad. But the music app shows two songs under "Up Next", but doesn't have the "lyrics" label for that song.

It seems Apple removed the clear all functionality for Up Next playlist in iOS 10. A lot of folks are complaining about it. I still haven't found any solutions for the lyrics issue.
