Something like MS Publisher

Hi,

I changed from PC to Mac just some months ago!!

Now I have a very important question: (Important, because i need it for my job)

On Pc I used MS Publisher to make pages of our catalogue...now i have them all as .pdf!

Which programm would you recommend me to use in future to make new pages and to process the old ones?

Congratulations on your move to Mac! Quark or InDesign are the industry standards for graphic design/desktop publishing, and depending on your needs you might want to check out the full Adobe CS 2 package which includes InDesign, PhotoShop, Illustrator... all industry standards...

The downside is that Quark and InDesign are pretty expensive, but if you can write them off as a business expense or get work to pay for them entirely, they'd be the way to go... Don't know about comparable free/cheap equivalents...

And I just have to say, being in the publishing industry, we absolutely hate when our customers use MS Publisher to build their artwork!
