My screen have been burned or something?

Hi

A few months ago i noticed a shape on my screen, and it was formed as an apple. First i thought it was just the sun shining through the apple but it appeared even when the light was closed or when i covered the back of the screen. Is there anyone who has the same problem or similar?

A friend told me that it can appear from a pressure damage. What do you think about that theory?

Hello and welcome.

That could definitely be an LCD bruise, or the remnants of a condensation issue. If you leave your Mac in your car in cold temperatures, and then bring it inside to warm environment and power it on, condensation can form in the LCD glass and cause discoloration. It is always recommended to allow the Mac to come up to room temperature after being exposed to cold temps.

If you can, post a few close-up photos of the area and we can try to determine the cause.
